Websites
Whether you’re starting from scratch or refreshing an existing website, I’ll help you create a site that represents your business professionally and supports your goals.
A good website should do more than look nice. It should clearly explain what you do, build trust with visitors, and make it easy for potential customers to take the next step.
If you need a new website or a redesign, I’ll help you shape the content, organize the pages, and launch with confidence.

Every project is customized to your business, but most websites include:

- A contact page with a lead capture form
- Mobile-friendly responsive design that works on phones, tablets, and desktops
- Basic on-page SEO structure and optimization

Built Around Your Business
I specialize in creating websites for local businesses. My goal is to build a website that is easy to manage, easy for customers to use, and positioned to support your long-term growth.
Whether you need a simple brochure website or a more complete online presence, I’ll help you create a website that works for your business.
Why I Build Websites with WordPress, Divi, and a Design System
When business owners contact me about a new website, they’re often focused on how it will look. While great design is important, I believe a successful website should do much more than look attractive.
A website should help your business grow.
It should build trust, answer questions, generate leads, showcase your services, and turn visitors into customers. That’s why I build websites using WordPress, Divi 5, and Design System (presets and variables) a combination that gives my clients the flexibility, performance, and marketing power they need to compete in today’s digital world.
Your Website Is Often the First Impression
For many businesses, a website is the first interaction a potential customer has with your company. Before they call, email, or walk through your door, they’re visiting your website to decide whether they can trust you.
Those first few seconds matter.
An outdated website can make even an excellent business appear unprofessional. On the other hand, a modern, well-structured website immediately communicates credibility, professionalism, and confidence.
When I design a website, I focus on creating an experience that helps visitors quickly understand who you are, what you do, and why they should choose you.
Why I Choose WordPress
There are countless website platforms available today, but I continue to recommend WordPress because it gives business owners true ownership and flexibility.
WordPress powers a significant portion of the internet because it works. It’s reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting businesses of every size.
One of the biggest advantages is that you’re not locked into a proprietary system. Your website belongs to you.
As your business grows, your website can grow with it. Whether you eventually want online scheduling, e-commerce, membership areas, event registrations, or advanced marketing tools, WordPress provides a solid foundation that can adapt to your future needs.
I want my clients investing in a website they can build upon for years rather than starting over every few years.
WordPress is open-source, which remains free to use. No monthly or yearly subscription.
Why I Build with Divi 5
A powerful website platform is only part of the equation. The design and user experience are equally important.
That’s where Divi 5 comes in.
Divi 5 allows me to create custom websites that reflect your brand rather than forcing your business into a generic template. Every company is different, and I believe every website should be too.
Using Divi 5, I can create custom layouts that are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and designed to guide visitors toward taking action.
Whether that’s:
- Calling your business
- Requesting a quote
- Scheduling an appointment
- Filling out a contact form
- Purchasing a product
Every page is built with a purpose.
I don’t simply arrange content on a page. I structure each page to help visitors find information quickly and encourage them to take the next step.
Why Design System Makes a Difference
A beautiful website that doesn’t generate leads is little more than an expensive brochure.
That’s why I incorporate Design System into my website development process.
A Design System focuses on a design system. In simple terms, it helps me create pages that use variables and presets that are responsive (mobile) and consistent on every page and each section. For example, the H2 heading tag will be the same font, size, and color. If you want all H2 to be a different color, it is changed the variable in one place, and it automatically changes it throughout the entire site. No changing every page to get consistent results.
Built with SEO in Mind
I don’t believe search engine optimization should be an afterthought.
SEO starts during the design and development process.
Every website I build includes a strong SEO foundation with proper page structure, heading hierarchy, schema markup, image optimization, internal linking, and mobile responsiveness.
These elements help search engines understand your content and improve your opportunities to appear in search results when potential customers are looking for your services.
A great website should not only impress visitors it should also help people find your business in the first place.
Mobile Users Matter
Today, more people browse the internet on mobile devices than on desktop computers.
That’s why every website I build is designed with mobile users in mind from the very beginning.
Your visitors should have a seamless experience whether they’re using a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
I focus on:
- Fast loading pages
- Responsive layouts
- Easy navigation
- Readable text
- Optimized images
- Mobile-friendly forms
A website that works beautifully on every device creates a better experience for your visitors and helps improve search engine performance.
Easy for You to Manage
One concern I hear frequently is, “Will I be able to update my website myself?”
The answer is yes.
One of the reasons I use WordPress and Divi is that they make content management straightforward and user-friendly.
You can easily:
- Update text
- Add photos
- Publish blog posts
- Create new pages
- Change business information
- Update services
Of course, many business owners prefer to focus on running their business rather than managing a website. That’s why I also offer maintenance and support services for clients who want ongoing assistance.
A Long-Term Business Asset
I don’t view a website as an expense. I view it as an investment.
When properly designed, a website becomes one of the most valuable marketing assets your business owns. It works for you 24 hours a day, builds credibility, answers questions, generates leads, and supports every other marketing effort you undertake.
That’s why I focus on creating websites that are designed not only for today’s needs but also for future growth.
My Approach
When I begin a website project, I will ask lots of simple questions:
The first question I will ask is, “How can this website help your business succeed?”
Everything that follows is built around that answer.
The design, content structure, user experience, SEO foundation, and conversion strategy are all created with your business goals in mind.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all websites. I believe in creating websites that reflect your business, serve your customers, and help you grow.
By combining the power of WordPress, the flexibility of Divi, and the strategic approach of a Design System, I create websites that do more than look professional.
I create websites designed to earn trust, generate leads, and help businesses succeed online.
Because at the end of the day, the most beautiful website in the world means very little if it doesn’t help your business grow.

FAQ
What's typically included in a new website build?
Most Site4Success projects take 2–3 weeks. A homepage designed to attract visitors, service pages that explain what the business does and support local search visibility, a contact page with a lead capture form, mobile-friendly responsive design, basic on-page SEO structure, and analytics and tracking setup if desired.
What platform and tools does Douglas build websites with?
WordPress, Divi 5, and a Design System. WordPress provides ownership and flexibility, Divi 5 enables custom design and layouts, and Design System maintains a consistent design system across the site.
Will I be able to update my own website after it's built?
Yes. WordPress and Divi make content management straightforward, so business owners can update text, add photos, publish blog posts, and change business information themselves; ongoing maintenance and support are also available for those who'd rather not.
Who is a website build a good fit for?
New businesses establishing credibility from day one, existing businesses modernizing an outdated site, and growth-focused businesses that want a site to generate leads and support marketing.
What do I need to bring to the project?
Content (text, images, logo) helps the most. Site4Success can work with what you have, but if quality is low it will be flagged and you can work together to improve or replace it. Copywriting support is also available at the hourly rate.
Does Site4Success include SEO?
Every Site4Success build includes a technical SEO foundation — page structure, headings, schema markup, internal linking, image optimization, and meta setup. Ongoing SEO (Google Business Profile, local citations, content) is a separate service, available through maintenance plans or hourly work.
