FAQ's

How much does a website cost?

Most websites fit into one of my packages, which start at $1,599. If you only need a few changes to an existing site, hourly work may be a better fit. Reach out to me at Site4Success, and I’ll help you determine the right option and provide a clear quote.

Do I need to pay for everything at once?

No. A 50% deposit is required to begin your project, and the remaining 50% is due when your website is complete and ready to launch. If you need a different payment schedule, I’m happy to discuss options with you.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Your quote will outline the costs for your project, including website creation, hosting, domain registration, premium plugins if needed, and maintenance, as applicable. I’ll explain any recurring costs so you know what to expect.

How long does a typical website take?

Most website projects take 2–3 weeks, depending on the scope and how quickly you can provide content and feedback. If you have a specific deadline, let me know. I can sometimes accommodate a shorter timeline.

Do you provide hosting?

Yes. I offer fast, secure, and reliable website hosting for $250 per year. I can also work with your existing hosting provider if it meets your website’s needs.

Do you provide domain names?

Yes. I can help you choose and register a domain name, such as a .com or .org, that fits your business. Registration is available for one year or multiple years.

If you already own a domain, I can update its settings to connect it to your new website. I’ll walk you through providing the account access needed to make those changes.

Can I supply my own images and logo?

Absolutely. I’m happy to use your existing images and logo, provided they’re clear and high enough quality for your website. If anything needs improvement, we can work together to update it or find a suitable replacement.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. Ongoing support is an important part of how I work with my clients. My maintenance plans help keep your website secure, updated, and backed up, with continued improvements based on your plan.

Can you help with SEO?

Yes. I help with technical, on-page, and local SEO to give your website a strong foundation and improve its visibility in search results. Ongoing SEO work is available through maintenance plans or hourly services.

For local businesses, that work can include improving your Google Business Profile, keeping your business information consistent, and helping you develop a process for requesting customer reviews. Consistent social media activity can also support your broader marketing efforts.

Do I need SEO if I already have a website?

Having a website is a good start, but it doesn’t guarantee that potential customers will find it. SEO helps search engines understand your website and connect it with relevant searches.

I can review your existing site and identify opportunities to improve its visibility. Local SEO is especially useful if your business depends on customers in a specific city or service area.

What does website maintenance actually include?

My website maintenance services typically include software updates, security monitoring, backups, performance optimization, uptime monitoring, broken link checks, and ongoing technical support. Your plan will outline the specific services included.

Regular maintenance helps keep your website secure, fast, and working properly while reducing the risk of downtime and security issues.

How long until I see results from local SEO?

Local SEO takes time. Three to six months is a reasonable planning range for initial improvements, but results aren’t guaranteed. Your timeline will depend on your competition, current online presence, and the condition of your website.

Some updates may make a difference sooner, while stronger rankings and increased traffic can take longer. I’ll help you set realistic expectations based on your business and goals.

What’s the difference between website hosting and website maintenance?

Hosting provides the space and resources your website needs to be available online. Maintenance is the ongoing work that keeps it updated, secure, and running properly.

Think of hosting as the building where your business operates and maintenance as the regular repairs and upkeep that keep it in good condition.

Do you work with businesses outside the Prescott area?

Absolutely. Site4Success is based in Northern Arizona, and I serve businesses in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey-Humboldt. I also work with clients throughout Arizona and across the United States.

Most of my website design, maintenance, and SEO services can be provided remotely.

What happens if my website breaks after you build it?

If something goes wrong after launch, reach out to me. I’ll help you identify the problem and explain the next steps. Clients with a maintenance plan receive priority support and troubleshooting.

Can I update my own website after you build it?

Yes. Your website belongs to you, and I build sites that let you update text, images, blog posts, and other content yourself.

If you’d prefer to focus on running your business, I can handle those updates through one of my maintenance plans.

Do you work with nonprofits?

Yes. I enjoy working with nonprofits and supporting the work they do in their communities. I offer a reduced hourly rate and discounted packages for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
